About SMAI
Smart Manufacturing and AI is a global organization within Micron that spearheads Micron’s Industry 4.0 transformation. Its birth drives Micron’s vision for accomplishing digital operations in the company. It focuses on industry-wide smart manufacturing capabilities like the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), advanced analytics, and Machine Learning (ML).
The Organization ensures that our fab, assembly and test operations are optimized for cost, scale, and quality. It brings forth and simultaneously applies industry-leading best practices in automation, AI, and ML so that we can enhance our product development and optimize the processes across the company. About Micron Hack 2022
B.tech students with good programming skills and interest in data engineering, data science, SQL, and AI/ML are preferred.
This program’s primary objective is to invite capable students to showcase their talent by idea-sharing, effective collaboration and creativeness driven by enthusiasm.
By the end of the challenge, we are also looking at exceptional talent who will be provided internship opportunities with Micron and be part of our success journey for “Smart Manufacturing and AI Organization”.

Process for the Micron Hack 2022
- Target audience: B.tech students passing from 4th semester/2nd year (Circuit branch).
- Eligibility: 7 CGPA & Above.
- Size of team: 3 students.
- Teams per college: 4.
- Rating scale: Quality, innovation aspect, presentation skills, analytical skills, reasoning, timeliness.
Round One
Written/Aptitude test will be conducted for all the students those who register
Round Two
Theme based challenge for each team which will be presented in front of panelists
Round Three
Workable solutions desired for final 10 teams
